About us:

Landschop was founded in June 2019 by Chris Buccino, ASLA, who moved back to his hometown on Cape Cod with a vision of a landscape architecture studio informed by and focused on climate change adaptation.  The studio is located in Falmouth, Massachusetts, at the interface between land and sea.  Falmouth is home to a vibrant scientific community taking a leadership role in climate research and action, including the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the Marine Biological Laboratory, and the Woodwell Climate Research Center.  Conservation and ecological restoration are also important local values, and the protection of thousands of acres within the town of Falmouth is spearheaded by nonprofit land trusts.  Landschop offers full landscape architectural design services, from conceptual design through construction observation.  Our current design projects include numerous coastal residential landscapes and a public charter school in Barnstable, MA.  We evaluate each design project through the lens of climate change to inform a collaborative team approach that is appropriate to the project site, regional context, and proposed design program.  We value work-life balance, involvement in the community, and regional authenticity and exploration.  We are glad to help you find housing and settle into this beautiful region.

Applicants should send a resume and portfolio (9MB maximum) to info@landschop.com by February 15, 2021. We are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
